Most roofing homepages contain roughly the right ingredients in roughly the wrong order, with two or three things on them that have never earned a call. Here is the running order that works, top to bottom, and why each part is where it is. If yours gets visits but no calls, this is usually where the answer is.
Read it as a checklist against your own site. Almost nobody has all of it, and the gaps are usually the same three.
The bar across the top
Your business name, your phone number, and one button. That is the whole thing. On a phone the number must be tappable, and it must be there before anybody scrolls.
Resist putting eleven towns or nine services up here. A menu that lists everything is a menu built for the owner, not the customer.
1. The first screen
One line saying what you do and where. Roof repairs and replacements across Denver and the front range. Not a slogan, not Welcome To Our Website, and not Quality You Can Trust, which every roofer in the country has already written.
Behind it, a photograph of your own finished work. Not a stock roof, not a stock family. Underneath, the phone number again and one button.
